Place white & black queens so that neither colour attacks the other.
Goal: maximise the number of queens of each colour.
1. A Peaceable Queen is a pair of one White Queen (WQ) and one Black Queen (BQ) that do not attack each other.
2. Queens of the same colour may freely attack each other; only cross-colour attacks matter.
3. Select WQ or BQ from the toolbar, then left-click a square to place or remove a queen.
4. Right-click any square to quickly erase a queen without switching mode.
5. Dotted arrows show each queen's attack lines: yellow for WQ, blue for BQ.
6. A queen flashes red when it conflicts. Fix all conflicts to score!
7. Your Score = the smaller of (WQ count, BQ count). Balance both colours!
8. Try to place as many peaceable pairs as possible. Can you find the optimal solution?
