Context

What began as an extracurricular professional activity for engineers became a collection of four self-contained browser prototypes and a way to discuss mathematics through play.

My role

Created puzzle simulators using iterative AI-assisted development, connecting simple interactions with the underlying constraint systems.

Methods

Lights Out uses Boolean linear algebra and Gaussian elimination over GF(2). Four Colour represents map adjacency as a graph. Peaceable Queens explores balanced groups of queens that do not attack the opposite colour. Royal Cards applies row and column uniqueness across both face and suit.

Results

All four supplied applications are playable in the labs. They include state feedback and controls for exploring the respective rules. Original game logic is retained in the portfolio versions.

Constraints

These are browser prototypes rather than commercial game products. Their value is in making an abstract system concrete enough to explore, question, and improve.
